Cashier types in 2 cheeseburgers instead of hamburgers. I tell him if he can tell cooks to not put cheese and he does. I ask for my change because a cheeseburger costs more than ham burger. He tells me that it'll take some time cause he needs to notify manager. I tell him not to worry at all. I wasn't mad. We all make mistakes and he seemed like a good dude.

So here comes manager and tells him why would he make a mistake like that? He tells him in such a condescending and angry tone, I regret not defending cashier.

And then as I wait for my change, other people are lining up to order. Some angry lady who is in her 40s basically abuses the staff because she's been waiting "forever" for her food and needs to "get back to work pronto."

Most managers are cool because they are just employees and are likely just a couple years older than the normal staff member. I used to smoke weed on the side of the building, give friends free food etc. Taco Bell especially was the chillest job of all time.

I was however pretty badly sexually harassed by an older gay manager at McDonalds. A bunch of other boys were too and I think eventually the store was sued.

Also the store manager is a full fledged adult and this is his career. He is angry as fuck because he has to put on a goddamn mcdonalds costume every day and literally have the most humiliating job of all time. These people are generally assholes to the staff.

There are also the customers who go into the store looking for a fight. Just miserly angry people who are ready to treat someone like shit for no reason. Like they see someone sneeze in the back and immediately make a big deal about it even if the person washes his hands and puts on new gloves immediately. Or you have entitled suburban white kids openly mocking minority workers who don't speak english.

We dressed up in our uniforms and drove to other Burger Kings in the county then just walked in the kitchen and started working.

We went to one and I remember I was putting baskets of fries in the oil when I hear one of my friends yell, "Let's go! We have to go!" and we all went running out.

He said the store manager pushed him in the chest with his hand, pushing him inside his manager's office and yelled, "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?"
