yes it does. it wont address nasal/septum driven snoring but for most men snoring comes from the muscles in the back of the jaw and the tongue loosening and blocking the airway in your throat. the mouthguard keeps your jaw positioned forward so you breathe unimpeded through the night, resulting in a drastic reduction in snoring volume and drastic increase in sleep quality.

I don't get how it improves sleep quality.

Seems like you'd still be grinding, but instead of teeth grinding on teeth, it's teeth grinding on night guard.

Given that it doesn't eradicate the grinding, how does it help sleep?

you dont get a $2k mouthguard for grinding. it will help with that but it's an incidental benefit

it helps sleep quality because it keeps your jaw positioned forward so that it doesn't block airflow. and increased unobstructed breathing = increased sleep quality

people pay $2000 for a fucking night guard?

Just buy a couple of these https://www.amazon.com/Night-Mouth-Guard-KM-Brands/dp/B06XXK3LPS

and it will do the EXACT same thing for $8 a pop. Probably just as "fitted" to your teeth as the one your dentist makes.

WTF guys do I really need to tell you this.
